Despite failing to to crack the ratings Top 10, Channel Ten are very happy with Lara Bingle's reality television debut Being Lara Bingle.
More than 900,000 viewers tuned in to watch the premiere episode, making it the 13th most-watched program on Tuesday night.
A spokesperson from Ten said the network is thrilled with Tuesday night’s ratings, particularly given Nine’s rating juggernaut The Block ran over its timeslot by 22 minutes - eating into Bingle’s audience.
The Block pulled in an average of just under 1.5million viewers and, in a sneaky move by Nine, ran over by a full segment to finish at 8.22pm.
Being Lara Bingle, meanwhile, started at 8.11pm - itself over schedule by 11 minutes thanks to an extended episode of MasterChef featuring Jamie Oliver.
“We’re really happy with it,” said a Ten rep.
“They’re great numbers considering it’s a show with a niche target demographic.”
