Lara Worthington has been up to her old tricks of teasing out the suspense of her pregnancy for months, but has finally confirmed the news to an Australia fashion magazine, five weeks after The Sunday Telegraph reported it as fact.She and her actor husband Sam Worthington are expecting their second child, giving 14-month-old Rocket Zot a brother or sister.
“I’m sure it might seem full-on at the beginning for me (having two children so close in age), and it’s probably a lot harder than it is now, but when they get older they can share their life together,” 28-year-old Bingle-Worthington told InStyle Magazine.
“I have a brother and Sam has a sister so it’s nice when someone always has your back.”
The polarising beauty, who is believed to be six months along, said she planned to lay low until the baby arrived.
“I’m feeling fine,” she said.
“I had a great pregnancy with Rocket and touch wood it will be the same this time.
“I don’t really get morning sickness but I do have to eat consistently to keep my energy up. ”
Bingle-Worthington was expected to reveal the news in an exclusive radio interview with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson last month, but decided to divulge all in a 12-page spread in the glossy, which saw the model posing in numerous high-end designer outfits.
In the interview, Bingle-Worthington gushed about her actor husband and his parenting style.
“He’s a big kid. He and Rocket dress up in Superman outfits,” she said.
“He’s more of a kid than me. I’m the one who makes the dinners and things like that. He’s
the joker.”
