LARA SHOWS OFF LATEST CATCH AND SHARES MEMORY OF DAD GRAHAM

We'd hate to think she was fishing for publicity but Lara Bingle has posted a social media pic of her latest catch.

And no, it’s not Sam Worthington, but a large fish caught while Bingle was enjoying a day off from her usual modelling assignments.

Despite the fun pic, which shows Bingle going to smooch the sizeable catch, there was a sad side to the photo as the 26-year-old said the fishing trip had reminded her of her late dad Graham, who died of cancer when she was only 20.

“Caught this today!!!! Fishing reminds me of my dad. #jackfish,” Bingle wrote with her Instagram photo.

It may be a far cry from her photo shoots and sultry looks but Bingle still looks stunning in the photo, going make-up free in a simple pair of cut-off shorts and a T-shirt.

LARA BINGLE DOES IT ALONE… IN THE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

Lara Bingle may finally be lucky in love with her man Sam Worthington but she could be faced with life as a singleton when it comes to finding a manager.

The model has had seven companies look after her since she hit the spotlight in 2006 with her So Where The Bloody Hell Are You? tourism campaign.

It all began in 2006 with the go-to model agent Priscilla Leighton-Clark, the woman responsible for landing her the tourism campaign, then the 26-year-old enlisted the help of none other than celebrity PR guru Max Markson — and from there the list quickly grew.

Since then the Cotton On model has had a plethora of people looking after her publicity and endorsement deals, including 6 Degrees founder Titus Day, BFF Hermione Underwood, Tailor Maid duo Sally Brown and Chrissy Biasotto, and the founder of Miranda Kerr’s skincare range, Kora, George Moskos, then even one of his junior staff members.

The latest woman to help Bingle with her career aspirations is Worthington’s agent, Jess Carrera.

Carrera, however, will be looking after Bingle’s publicity and won’t be managing her.

Bingle, who will grace the cover of Cleo magazine on the newsstands tomorrow, said she now recognises how crucial it is to have good people around her.

“I’m taking positive steps forward and at the centre of this is my desire to make my own decisions and make the right ones,” Bingle told Cleo magazine.

“I’ve realised how important it is for me to build a good team of collaborators around me.

“I’ve learnt so much in a short period of time — this will only better prepare me for the future.”

Bingle also revealed she would be launching a self-titled charity foundation to “empower younger girls, the next generation”.

“I love Sydney and it will always be my home, but I am going to jump in the deep and be a bit of a gypsy this year,” Bingle said.

“It’s a nice feeling to embrace being pulled in new directions. The Lara Bingle Foundation is one of them.

“I feel like now is the right time to welcome the opportunities around me.”

LARA: CLEO - BEING LARA BINGLE

Lara Bingle. It’s the name synonymous with killer curves, an incredible smile and, at times, a touch of scandal.

From international modelling and numerous magazine articles to her own reality program (and most recently her current squeeze, actor Sam Worthington), Lara has captured Australia’s attention like few other homegrown celebrities.

It’s why the sun-kissed babe just had to be Cleo’s May cover girl. And while her star might continue to rise, Lara doesn’t get wrapped up in the hype that follows wherever she goes.

“I don’t consider myself as a celebrity or as someone that’s at the top of their game. For me, it’s about doing what you love, surrounding yourself with people that you love,” she tells Cleo at our exclusive shoot in Sydney.

While we’d totally disagree with her there (what non-celeb has 345,000+ Instagram followers?!), it’s Lara’s laidback attitude that has us captivated.

And it’s this same diplomatic outlook on life that’s helped her deal with the fall-out from an incident with a US paparazzo, who allegedly assaulted Lara when she was in New York with Sam Worthington.

“Focusing on the positive not the negative is really important for me. I’m very resilient. Ever since my father passed away I’ve learnt to be very strong,” she tells us.

While she might be a total professional on set, Lara’s love of mischief is never far away. When we finish shooting around lunchtime, she can’t resist Instagramming a photo of her G-string in the couture skirt she wears on Cleo’s cover.

Think celebs spend thousands on exxy products? These stars pay next-to-nothing to look amazing.

It’s pretty clear that no matter what the situation, she’s always happy to be the real girl: irrepressibly Lara. And it’s hard not to be charmed by that.

LARA KNOWS WHAT SAM MISSES, POSTING A NEW INSTAGRAM SHOT

Lara Bingle has showed her movie star beau Sam Worthington what he was missing, posting a sexy shot of herself on Instagram yesterday.

With red lips, slicked back hair and her cleavage on display, yet again, Bingle captioned the picture: “Studio Days.”

The photo was taken just hours after the 26-year-old jetted into Sydney — solo — after spending a few days in Los Angeles with Worthington on the set of his new film, Cake, also starring Jennifer Aniston.

Clutching a laptop and wearing dark sunglasses and black leather jacket at the airport, Bingle is believed to be home to complete a court-ordered, seven-week traffic offenders program.

She pleaded guilty to driving offences in January which included driving with a cancelled licence.

She is now halfway through the program, which must be a relief for Bingle who is now based in New York with Worthington, and has been going back and forth between the US and Australia.

Bingle was a noticeable front row no-show at last week’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

In past years, she was a regular guest at shows.

LARA SHOWS OFF NEW HAIRSTYLE ON SAM WORTHINGTON'S FILM SET

Having decided against making an appearance at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Week, front-row fixture Lara Bingle reappeared at boyfriend Sam Worthington’s side in Los Angeles overnight.

The model, 26, jetted to Worthington’s side on the set of his Los Angeles-based film Cake where she was spied with a new shorter hairstyle.

Bingle has been racking up some frequent flier points this past month flying between the US and Sydney, where she is halfway through a traffic offender’s program which she was expected to attend at the PCYC in Wooloomooloo on Monday night.

A source said Bingle had to date been “consistent” with the driver’s course attendances.

The model’s new hairstyle looks suspiciously like a loose bob, a style she has adopted before.

Bingle failed to show at Fashion Week and support her favourite designers in the front row, later Instagramming pictures from some designer shows and sending congratulations to the designers who have dressed her for years - often free of charge.
