FAMOUS MAGAZINE ARE STILL DENYING PHOTOSHOPPING IMAGES OF LARA

Would a magazine editor digitally alter a photo of Lara Bingle to make the model look less fit and toned than she actually is?

That was the question Famous magazine editor Matt Frilingos was answering yesterday after the swimsuit model blasted the magazine on social media over the validity of photographs depicting her with cellulite.

Frilingos, editor of Famous magazine, bluntly denied Bingle's accusations.

"We have not photo-shopped the images of Lara in Famous this week" Frilingos said. "It is not Famous' agenda to make women look less than natural. The reality is we want to put real women on our covers."

On Monday night Bingle posted her thoughts regarding the cover story on the current edition of the magazine - Lara Elopes: Married in the Mediterranean. The story examined baseless rumours the bikini model and her actor boyfriend of 10-weeks Sam Worthington had eloped.

Bingle initially took issue with the way she looked on the Famous cover.

"THESE ARE THE SAME IMAGES WHO MAGAZINE USED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND THEY DID NOT LOOK LIKE THIS," she blasted, later labelling the magazine a "disgrace" and indirectly pointing out that a photo published by Who Weekly last month and taken on the same day showed her without cellulite.

Next came her clarification on her relationship with Worthington: "ALSO I AM NOT MARRIED."

Finally came her attack on the magazine known for its composite cover stories showing celebrities at their worst: "Perpetuating self doubt in all women in the name of making a quick buck. Sickening. Same day different magazine. YOU ARE A DISGRACE FAMOUS MAGAZINE @famousweekly"

While photographers attached to the shoot - which took place in early October at Palm Beach and on Sydney Harbour - were reluctant to wade into the debate yesterday, one stated that "the light" may have played a hand in the discrepancy.

Who Weekly editor Nicky Briger said she was surprised a second set of unseen pictures had materialised from the shoot and denied airbrushing images to enhance Bingle.

"Ours was not a paid interview. Nor were the images set up in collaboration with Lara," she said.

"We bought the photos from an agency and we did brighten them but we did not manipulate them."

It seems it's the magazines move now.

LARA SLAMS FAMOUS MAGAZINE OVER PHOTOSHOPPED IMAGES

Lara Bingle has savaged a gossip magazine of photoshopping pictures of her in a bikini to add cellulite to her thighs.

The Aussie model also criticised Famous magazine for reporting that she had wed actor beau, Sam Worthington, in "secret island nuptials".

Bingle last night tweeted that the latest edition of magazine had reused photos published "a few months ago" in rival celebrity magazine Who, showing the model on a boat in a scanty black bikini, wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses with silky smooth thighs.

The model posted the Who photo on Twitter next to the Famous cover, which boasts that the photos were "exclusive", with the caption "SAME DAY. DIFFERENT MAGAZINE."

Both publications are owned by Pacific Magazines.

Famous quickly leapt to defend itself, tweeting "Our pics are legit. No photoshop."

But Bingle didn't buy the magazine's defence, sniping back:

She had earlier dubbed the magazine "a disgrace" and rejected its report that she and Worthington had "married in the Mediterranean" after dating just 10 weeks.

"ALSO I AM NOT MARRIED," she posted.

Former model Charlotte Dawson tweeted her support for Bingle, writing: "please try not to let this bother you in what seems to be the happiest time for you x much love x".

The Great Gatsby actor Brendan Maclean posted that Famous was a "horrible magazine" in response to Bingle's rant.

LARA AND SAM CAUGHT COUPLE DRESSING IN PARIS

Here's the proof that model Lara Bingle and actor Sam Worthington are serious: they've started couple dressing.

Snapped by paparazzi during their trip to Paris, the couple were seen wearing similar chunky black leather jackets, complete with shoulder pads and assymetrical zippers.

The pair stuck to a muted colour theme. Lara matched her black jacket with a long navy blue skirt, while Sam teamed his skinny black jeans with a T-shirt that matched Lara's skirt.

Paparazzi reported that the couple stopped by Balmain, Colette, Miu Miu and Balenciaga on their shopping expedition, and that Sam did not look impressed with the bill.

Friends of the couple told Confidential yesterday that the relationship was "very serious".

"They are in love and are very happy," the source said. "They want to get married, I have heard them say it."

LARA AND SAM WORTHINGTON TOUCH DOWN IN PARIS

Lara Bingle has touched down in the city of love with her beau Sam Worthington - so don't be surprised if pictures of her sporting an engagement ring surface.

Friends of the socialite say her new man is the type she would settle down with and that news of Worthington popping the question is imminent.

"It is very serious," a friend told Confidential.

"They are in love and are very happy.

"They want to get married, I have heard them say it."

The loved-up pair, who began dating in late September after being introduced by mutual friend Natalie Imbruglia, are in the midst of a whirlwind trip which kicked off in Belgium.

However it is their stop off in Paris which has friends speculating the pair will take their relationship to the next level.

It is no secret the model and her actor boyfriend are smitten despite only having dated for two months.

EUROPEAN REUNION FOR LARA AND SAM

After a couple of weeks apart, Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington will be reunited today.

Bingle was spotted checking in for her Qantas first class flight to Europe yesterday afternoon, en route to visit her Hollywood star boyfriend. He's in Amsterdam filming The Kidnapping Of Freddy Heineken and Bingle is expected to spend the next few weeks with him.

Bingle has been dating the Avatar actor for the past few months, the pair meeting through friends and starting their love affair in New York in September.

A close friend of Bingle's said yesterday the model and fashion designer, who launched a range for Cotton On Body on Friday is "very happy".

The Killing Of Freddy Heineken stars Anthony Hopkins as the lead.

Worthington, 37, plays Willem, a member of a group of kidnappers who took the Heinekin beer boss hostage in 1984.

Directed by Daniel Alfredson, the film also stars Jim Sturgess, Ryan Kwanten and Thomas Cocquerel.

"I'm very happy and I've met someone I'm very grateful for," Worthington said in a recent radio interview on Nova.

Bingle, 26, has described Worthington as an "awesome down-to-earth guy".

There's been speculation the couple is getting serious with some suggesting a proposal is on the cards. May we suggest a mini-break to Paris and the Eiffel Tower?

FIVE MINUTES WITH LARA ON HER NEW SWIM LINE AND HER NEW MAN

'My boyfriend and I play cards for money!' Lara Bingle laughs about spending her winnings on a Balmain jacket. She's launched her new swimwear line with Cotton On Body, and says she's taking to her new design and ambassador role with ease. If ever it's great being Lara Bingle, it's right now. Apart from her sell-out swimear debut, the Bondi blonde is already working on a lingerie line, beauty product range and there's that A-list boyfriend on her arm.

But her CV and relationship status aside, Lara Bingle's style is equally covetable. The queen of modern minimalism, her wardrobe is clean, modern, always on-trend (and sometimes grunge) — today, she's wearing a grey shell Bassike top and skirt with stacked Amber Sceats jewellery — and Dior pointy pumps to polish it off.

We caught up with Lara to chat about her new swimwear line, love interest and what she's lusting for Christmas. Take a look!

On the reaction to her new swim line: We’re selling out! I want to give my friends some but I haven’t even been able to do that yet! It’s because they’re separates. We need it in Australia [the affordable prices], everything else is so expensive.

On her favourite pieces in the collection: I think the leopard is my favourite print. It took me a long time to find that. There were so many times it came back and I went no, no, no. Especially when you have it at that price point, you need to make sure it’s right. I mean, I’m a basics person so I wanted to make sure there’s the black, white, the black and white. Also the neoprene, which I didn’t expect to turn out the way it did. It turned out so well.

On designing for Cotton On Body: I didn’t want to have my name on the zipper, and they we’re like ‘you have it on there’ and then they just went and did it. I didn’t even want my name on the back, and they were like ‘you have to have something, it’s your line!’

What she wears to the beach: I do love one pieces. I’ve fallen more in love with them over the years. I’ve designed mine to be more like Baywatch — it’s the ultimate one piece, just really simple. This is kind of the basic, foundation styles and then I’m going to add some more in over time and grow the collection bigger and bigger.

On adding more to the collection: I just finished all the new prints for the next one — they’re totally different: insects, flowers. There’s this iceberg print that comes out in a few weeks. That’s the best one out of all of them I think. It’s a photo I took at the restaurant [Icebergs Restaurant in Bondi Beach] and it’s a reflection of both North and South [Bondi], so you can see it all on the one piece. It’s really very pretty.

The last thing she bought: Well my boyfriend (Sam Worthington) and I play cards — for money [laughs] — I’m very competitive. Anyway, I have a Lara Bingle Foundation of what I buy with the winnings, because I always win. So I bought a Balmain jacket from Net-a-Porter with my winnings and it was delivered to the office yesterday, yay! I just like those classic jackets.

The woman's wardrobe she would most like to steal: I think Diane Kruger. She always gets it right. She’s not too in your face.

The first thing she packs when travelling: My Nikes.

Lara's Christmas wish list: It’s crazy that it’s Christmas already. I just want time! Time to spend with my family and friends. I like to buy things for other people — I can go all out — but I don’t know about myself.

What she's buying family and friends for Christmas: My brother wants money towards a holiday. My brother is out of control [laughs]. My mum, for her birthday I bought her a little Cartier bracelet — the same as mine. Some things are inexpensive, some more expensive.

On shopping online: I never shop online! I always shop when I’m travelling. That Balmain jacket was the first thing I bought from Net-a-Porter and I was like wow, it comes in a box. But there’s something about trying things on that is never going to get old.

On her personal style: Sometimes I work with [stylist] Marina Afonina — about 50/50 me and her.

What else she's working on: Lingerie! That’s my favourite with Cotton On Body. It’s all basics, kind of similar to Bonds, but it’s a massive collection. I launch in March, it’s all designed and done. I’m doing this product line as well, on my own [not with Cotton On]. . . and a few other things.

LARA WRITHES AROUND IN THE SAND PROMOTING HER NEW BIKINI RANGE

She has a new love in the form of Hollywood hunk Sam Worthington, now Lara Bingle is poised to start another chapter in her life by launching her own swimwear collection next week.

Bingle is Australia's uber bikini babe so it's only fitting that she's finally taken the next step of collaborating on her own swimwear line which hits the stores on Monday.

Launching her Lara Bingle For Cotton On Body collaboration this week, the star has unveiled a one-minute YouTube video that brings to life the budget-friendly range.

Available online now and in stores from November 4, the capsule line features a host of mix and match separates.

Designs come in triangle and bandeau bikini tops and assorted style bottoms, as well one-pieces, in fun, colourful prints and block colours.

Interestingly, the standout blue and white 'Icebergs print' was created from a photo the model took herself at Bondi's iconic Icebergs restaurant and swimming club.

'It has been such an amazing experience to make this dream a reality and see the collection come to life. I hope everyone loves the range as much as I do,' the 26-year-old says.

In the clip, which is bound to help the range fly off shelves, the blonde beauty writhes around on the sand, contorting her lithe body, and poses up a storm as she stands in the shallow waves and kneels on the wet beach.

She giggles cheekily as she pouts into the camera while showing off her hard-earned toned and enviable physique.

The mainly black and white video features bursts of colour, enhancing the pretty prints and turquoise ocean.

One person who will no doubt give the short film an enthusiastic thumbs up is her boyfriend of less than a month, actor Sam Worthington.

The couple have been flaunting their love all over Sydney since hitting it off at the Cotton Con Foundation's Global Citizen Concert in New York City on September 28.
