LARA SPARKS FRESH MARRIAGE RUMOURS WITH INSTAGRAM NAME CHANGE

Lara Bingle has sparked fresh rumours she’s married Hollywood actor Sam Worthington by changing her name on social media.

The socialite now goes by the name Lara Bingle Worthington on Instagram and has posted an image of what looked like a poem with the caption, “My Favourite”.

“I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart),” it read. “I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling).”

Bingle, 27, and Worthington, 38, have been together since October 2013. She previously dated and was engaged to cricketer Michael Clarke.

Bingle has recently fuelled rumours of being pregnant.

The pair has also long been the subject of rumours they’ve secretly wed as far back as last January.

While Bingle is known for courting paparazzi and updates her every move on social media, Worthington is extremely private.

LARA: "I'VE PULLED BACK FROM LEADING A PUBLIC LIFE"

Model and entrepreneur Lara Bingle — the beach babe and budding businesswoman — talks about her new skincare range and being true to herself.

How long has The Base by Lara Bingle, your range of tanning and skincare products, been in the works?

It all stemmed from me wanting to be the kind of woman who wanted to have it all to herself.

You know, own it and create it, rather than everyone doing it for you and then just putting your name to it.

I wanted to create something bigger than myself, and be able to genuinely talk about it and not have someone else write my notes for me.

I’ve been there, done that for so long, being the face of other companies.

It sounds like a mammoth task. How does one even start?

Yeah, I know, right [laughs].

It was a year in the making, and I look back now and I’m like, “How did I [start]?” You just kind of work out exactly what you want to do.

Over the years I’ve come across so many inspiring women and learnt so much that I’ve used all their knowledge.

I flew to Perth one day and met Andrea Bux, who created Invisible Zinc, and I was so inspired… Learning and listening to other people is really important.

What was the turning point, for you, from celebrity to entrepreneur?

I think you come to a place in your life where you’re done with all the stuff that, you know… I was quite bored [with] talking about my personal life, to be honest.

Like, I don’t even talk with my friends [about that], so when people would ask me [personal] things I’d be like, “Ugh.”

Do you feel it’s hard for you to be taken seriously as a businesswoman?

I think I’ve always had that struggle.

With social media these days, there’s no mystery – that’s gone out the window – and I like mystery. I’ve started to do things I really like now.

I’ve pulled back [from public life] and put out there who I actually am, rather than people doing it for me and creating this person that is not who I am.

What has been the major learning curve?

Knowing each and every dollar that goes in and out of your account [laughs].

Honestly, knowing the business side of things is really important to me, and that’s another reason why I started this.

I wanted to know how to create a business from scratch and then [work on] the creative side of things.

A subtle tan smell is tough, but you seem to have achieved it.

It’s not that bad… [takes the lid off].

You know what? It smells like a dough…

A doughnut, I know! Everyone says that. OK, that’s good.

I like doughnuts.

But this [tan] is good; I tested it on my boyfriend [actor Sam Worthington] for a few days, because he has pale skin.

Was there a moment when making this that you thought, “What am I doing?”

Day in, day out; it’s a constant. If you want to do something, do it right.

Or at least try. I tried super-hard, like, for over a year.

You spend a lot of time overseas. How often do you make it back to Australia?

I’m in Australia less and less; I’ve been here maybe three times this year.

I miss it.

It’s nice to be back to visit my family, but I fly them to come and visit [me].

The world is small.

I used to think it was really big when I was younger, but [everything] is just a flight away.

I love travelling; I’m a bit of a gypsy.

I just like to go everywhere and explore – and pack lightly [laughs].

As this is our annual party issue, how has your attitude towards attending parties changed over the years?

My attitude hasn’t changed.

I have never been a massive fan of attending a lot of parties – only the ones that have personal significance to me.

You mentioned earlier that you like to maintain a sense of mystery. Is this a new direction for you? You’ve been so public in the past.

One of the nicest things is to not know everything about someone or something, and the discovery [of it].

Although The Base is keeping you busy, what else are you working on?
[Pregnancy questions were off-limits, but that’s what we were wondering…]

I plan to do other projects under this brand, but that’s next year.

It’s just slow and steady, I think. Slow and steady wins the race.

LARA SET TO LAUNCH A BIKINI COLLECTION FOR THE BASE

Lara Bingle is busy launching her brand of beauty and skin products, The Base, in Sydney this week. However, it looks like Bingle has bigger plans for the brand, confirming with POPSUGAR Australia that she intends to extend The Base's offering in 2015 with the launch of The Base swimwear.

"I've started doing some swimwear for The Base," Lara announced, adding, "I've just started the whole process of designing the collection."

Bingle fans won't be able to wear the model-turned-designer's bikini brand this Summer, with Lara confirming she is still a while off from launching the collection: "It's going to come out next Summer, and it will all be under The Base brand," she said.

This isn't the first time Lara has put her famous face and name to a swimwear brand. She collaborated in 2013 with Cotton On Body to launch a collection of separate swimpieces, made to mix-and-match. "I wore a lot of my Cotton On stuff, mostly the black and white pieces," Lara said, admitting she is considering keeping to an aesthetic that is similarly simple and minimalist within her new line: "I've started designing the first six pieces of swimwear, and they're all black," she said.

"I've always loved black, obviously you can't go wrong, but I think the construction and the material is also really important when designing swimear," Bingle began, adding, "I think the fit, definitely the material, the quality of the swimwear, and the construction is all important when finding flattering swimwear. You must know your own body, because everyone's different."

While we will likely still have a little while to wait until we get a first glimpse at the collection, Lara Bingle does deliver the beach babe shots all the time on her Instagram. So, keep scrolling to let Australia's ultimate Summer style-setter inspire your Summer.

LARA GETS SET TO LAUNCH THE BASE

There's really no better way to launch a beauty range than by looking pretty beautiful yourself, and Lara Bingle is the new benchmark.

The model has spent this week chatting to media about her new tanning collection The Base by Lara Bingle, which she describes as “the best line of products to achieve a healthy, safe, glow.”

Looking tanned in a white Josh Goot pant suit, Ms Bingle was spotted dashing about in Sydney yesterday as she prepares for the launch.

On Monday, she shared this delightful pic while shooting The Base for Sunday Style, dressed in Christopher Kane - and looking stunning, again.

Nothing will cost more than $39 in The Base range, which consists of eight products - Instant Tan Mousse, Gradual Tanning Lotion, Body Glow Oil, Wash-Off Bronzing Gel, Shimmer Illuminator and Matte Bronzer Illuminator, LB cream (which is like BB Cream) and a Self-Application Tanning Mitt.

It should come as no surprise to Bingle fans that she’s launching The Base — she started counting down via Instagram back in August, and has already amassed over 11,000 fans on the site.

“My focus has been to offer the modern woman the best line of products to achieve a healthy, safe glow; a look of vitality and well being, one that enhances their inner beauty,” Ms Bingle said — and with skin like hers, we’ll buy whatever she’s having.

MARIE CLAIRE: LARA IS ALL ABOUT THE BASE

marie claire sat down with the Cronulla-raised star to talk about her new self-tanning line, her love of summer, and why her boyfriend hates Instagram.

Is there a woman in the world better suited to starting a tanning line than Lara Bingle? She’s the happy-go-lucky, sun-seeking Cronulla model who is more comfortable on the beach than she is on the runway.

“My mum was that beach girl, I’m that beach girl,” Bingle says. “That carefree Australian attitude has always been a real inspiration to me. I love the beach, I spend a lot of time there.”

Bingle is in town for a fleeting visit to launch The Base, her new line of self tanning and bronzing products. The range features everything from wash-off bronzing gel to shimmering skin illuminators and, Bingle’s favourite, a sheer coverage LB cream. “It’s just like a BB cream, only for LB,” she jokes. Nestled in an armchair in a beautifully renovated terrace in Sydney’s Paddington, there’s no doubt about it: Bingle is glowing. “A glow is good,” she says, smiling. “A tan always looks good, but a glow makes you feel good.”

MC: Where did the idea for The Base come from?
LB: Being around makeup and hair and photoshoots all my life, I wanted to create products that were illuminating as well as tanning. I wanted to make something of my own that looked luxurious, but at a small price. The most expensive product in the line is $39 and the cheapest, the tanning mitt, is $12.

MC: Why did you want to have a tanning line as opposed to a makeup line?
LB: I don’t like heaps of makeup, and I think less is more. I think with young girls in particular, they don’t know that you don’t need to wear a lot of makeup to look good. You just need a good base that makes you feel good that you can add to if you want to. Honestly, I wouldn’t even know where to start with cosmetics.

MC: Skin cancer is a big problem facing Australians. Is that one of the reasons you wanted to encourage fake tanning products?
LB: When I was younger my mum used to wear baby oil in the sun. I grew up thinking that was the way, and it’s not. I’m 27 now and your skin changes when you get older. You want to look after yourself. That’s why I think not baking yourself in the sun to look good is so important. You can do it other ways, and safe ways.

MC: If you were stranded on a tropical island, what would be the three things you would take with you?
LB: A really thick book, so it would last me a long time. Sunscreen. And a big shawl or a blanket. I’m always cold, I feel the cold really badly. I need to be warm!

MC: What are some of your favourite fashion brands?
LB: I love Dion Lee. I think his construction is ten out of ten. Another favourite is Celine. I always wear Celine because it’s minimal, but I go broke because it’s so expensive! But if I could wear one brand, it would probably be Celine. I like that it doesn’t have a lot of branding, it’s very easy to wear.

MC: Is social media important to you?
LB: I don’t take it too seriously. But I do think there’s no mystery anymore. Everyone knows everything from social media. Sometimes it’s nice not to know things and not to give everything away.

MC: Would you ever get off social media?
LB: Probably (laughs). My boyfriend isn’t a fan of social media. When we first met, he had no idea what it was and he wanted to get on Instagram because I was on it so much. He was always like, “what do you do on this thing?” But now he’s off it. Completely off it. He says to me, “I don’t understand Lara, who are you talking to, who are these people?” Maybe I’ll get off social media one day, but maybe I won’t. Who knows?

The Base by Lara Bingle launches this week.

LARA SHOWS NO SIGNS OF A RUMOURED PREGNANCY

The Lara Bingle pregnancy rumours have persisted, but when she stepped out in Cronulla yesterday, the thought-to-be-expecting star looked very ... un-pregnant?

Perhaps it’s a feat of visual trickery and she’s hiding something under that very clever skirt, but the baby bump everyone was expecting to see never quite eventuated.

Bingle, who has never confirmed or denied rumours there is a baby Bingle on the way, wore a light pink tight top with an army-inspired skirt and sky high black heels.

It was marked difference from the heavy all-black ensemble of a bulky scarf and oversized coat that she was wearing when she arrived in Sydney on Wednesday.

Calling into an IGA supermarket in Cronulla in Sydney’s south with her mother, Lara chatted with a fan before heading out to lunch at Double Bay’s Indigo Cafe with her best friend Vicki-Lee, who is currently expecting.

EXCLUSIVE: FIRST LOOK AT LARA'S SUMMER COTTON ON CAMPAIGN

Lara Bingle is the ultimate Aussie pin-up, thanks to her Sydney beaches roots, glowing skin and laid-back style – and they’re just a few of the reasons why we love her (her too-cute relationship with homegrown Hollywood heart-throb Sam Worthington is another).

We caught up with the 27-year-old on the set of her summer Cotton On campaign, Bring It On, to get the inside scoop on her new tanning line The Base By Lara Bingle, her exercise regimen (wakeboarding and all), her go-to apps and who she thinks is Australia’s most stylish woman – it’s not who you expect.

What do you love most about working with Australian brand Cotton On?
They’re always thinking of their consumer. They’re always doing interesting things in the market that continue to excite me. The clothes are also phenomenal quality at a really great price point. They serve as the perfect basics in my wardrobe.

What was the highlight of shooting the new Christmas campaign?
We shot the latest campaign in Santa Monica. Shooting anytime at the beach are some of the best days that come with my job.

How has your relationship with Cotton On grown over the years?
I’ve been lucky enough to be part of the Cotton On family for so many years. They have allowed me to be so creative with designing my own collections within their brands and they continue to make me feel so inspired to achieve whatever I set out to do.

What does your summer exercise regimen include?
High-repetition and light weights are my secrets to toning. Long-distance, medium-speed running is my go-to for cardio, plus anything outdoors – I particularly love wakeboarding, swimming and surfing whenever I can.

How is The Base By Lara Bingle coming along?
I’m trying to challenge myself more by taking risks. I have found being hands-on in the development and creation of my own brand has been demanding and rewarding. It's been a great learning curve.

What are the key benefits and ingredients?
The Base By Lara Bingle is all about amazing beauty products that are high-quality, effective and extremely easy to use. Each product is designed to help transform your look and enhance your inner beauty. I selected premium-quality ingredients to perfect the ultimate glow – my objective has been to use as many natural ingredients as possible without comprising performance. It’s my favourite shoot to date. I felt so humbled to be given the opportunity.

What do you think “brand Lara” represents?
I work hard on things I’m passionate about, I’ve stayed true to myself and I try to embrace all life throws at me with delicacy, respect and kindness.

What five apps can’t you live without?
SignEasy, HappyCow, Rosetta Stone, Candy Crush Saga and Rdio.

Who do you think is Australia’s most stylish woman?

LARA AND SAM HIT UP HIGH-END BABY BOUTIQUE AMID PREGNANCY REPORTS

Are they or aren't they? Either way, it seems like Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle have babies on the brain.

E! News has learned that the pair shopped at high-end baby boutique Bel Bambini in West Hollywood last week, shortly after reports that the couple are expecting their first child hit the Internet. An eyewitness tells E! News they looked around for baby items before heading to the second floor to check out nursery furniture.

Reps for the stars have remained silent on the baby news.

When they're not preparing for possible parenthood, these two lovebirds spent some quality time together with a cute date night. Worthington and Bingle were spotted catching a flick at the movie theaters in The Grove on Saturday afternoon.

The Aussie model, who dressed comfortably in loose-fitting and casual black pants and matching blouse, was photographed standing next to her beau as she waited for him to grab their movie tickets for the 3D animation film The Boxtrolls from the automated machine.

Earlier last week, the blond beauty was snapped by shutterbugs walking into a medical building in New York City wearing a white and ivory ensemble and noticeably covering up her maybe-baby bump with her hand.

The famous duo has been notoriously private about their relationship since getting together in September 2013, and even keep their social media activity to a minimum.

PREGNANCY RUMOURS IN OVERDRIVE AS LARA AND SAM VISIT MEDICAL CLINIC

This is one way to really fire up the pregnancy speculation.

Lara Bingle has been snapped walking into a medical clinic in New York City on Monday.

The 27-year-old was accompanied by boyfriend Sam Worthington, who looked protective as he escorted Bingle inside while surrounded by photographers.

A change from her usual all-black, the Aussie model stepped out of the car wearing a cream, layered skirt that concealed her tummy and a high-neck top.

Adding to the speculation is news the model commented on friend and new mum Elyse Taylor’s comp card - showing her modelling statistics - saying: “Good [God] help me”, to which Taylor responded: “I have everything ready for you xxx”.

It is her first public comments on the topic and widely believed to be a confirmation she is pregnant.

That follows widespread rumours Bingle is expecting a baby with her 38-year-old actor beau.

According to the latest WHO magazine — a self-anointed “credible” source when it comes to celebrity goss — a handful of friends and sources have confirmed a Bingle/Worthington baby.

If Bingle is not pregnant, she certainly isn’t doing too much to dispel the rumours that have been swirling for the last few months.

LARA AND SAM 'EXPECTING A BABY'

A Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle bundle is definitely on the way.

That’s the gossip gospel — if we are to believe the weekly mags, whose role it is to amp up rumour and speculation.

According to the latest WHO magazine — a self-anointed “credible” source when it comes to celebrity goss — a handful of friends and sources have confirmed a Bingle/Worthington baby.

“Lara is just over three months’ pregnant,” a close pal of the couple tells WHO.

The magazine’s latest cover of the pregnancy is a total fait accompli with 27-year-old Bingle and 38-year-old Worthington looking to be parents in March.

“She’s 3 Months Pregnant”, “Lara & Sam’s Baby Joy!”, “The star couple are so excited”, reads the mag cover.

While the couple, who have been dating since last September, is yet to officially confirm a Bingle bundle, a slew of unnamed sources can’t possibly be wrong, right?

“Initially she had a bit of morning sickness, but that’s all over. She feels and looks amazing,” the close pal adds.

“We’ve known for a few weeks now, and everyone’s really excited for them.”

Even Bingle’s mum, Sharon has been quoted by the WHO source, saying she is “so happy and excited,” and “Lara’s the happiest she’s ever been.”

Despite the hype, the Aussie model has refused to comment on the speculation that started swirling again in July and her reps have denied that she is pregnant.

LARA SPORTING THE ALL BLACK TREND

Lara Bingle has been sporting a new stylish trend of draping herself in black with her man Sam Worthington.

Bingle, who started the iconic bob blonde haircut, seems she wants to do a take-two of her fashion-forward ways.

Spotted in the US, Worthington and Bingle stepped out in New York wearing matching very city-sleek black sweaters and dark pants.

It was a far cry from the bubbly girl-next-door Bingle used to be when she was in a relationship with Aussie cricketer Michael Clarke.

It’s been a busy last few days for Worthington who spent Monday on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of his film Cake with his co-star Jennifer Aniston.

The loved-up pair made headlines this week with people speculating whether they were expecting their first child.

“Everyone is talking about it,” a well-placed source said in July.

“It’s hard to know if its true given how much stuff has been said about them but the rumour is definitely that Lara is pregnant.”

LARA SHOWS SHES THE TREND QUEEN AS THE BOB CUT IS TAKING OFF ACROSS THE NATION

It's called “The Bingle” and it’s being echoed in hairdressing salons around the country.

Weeks after Lara Bingle debuted her new short blonde bob, hairdressers has been inundated with their clients wanting to emulate the model’s locks.

This was evident at yesterday’s Cotton On, ‘The One’ T-shirt launch — which Bingle is the face of — with a number of guests seen sporting similar styles.

Even her co workers have jumped on the “blob” — blonde bob — bandwagon with sources telling Confidential at least three Cotton On staffers have had the chop since seeing Bingle flaunt it at last week’s Rolex event.

“I wanted a fresh, modern look. It’s low maintenance and it feels like a nice change,” Bingle told Confidential.

“I’ve had so many positive changes in my life, new hair is just a minor one.

I’m pretty overwhelmed at the attention my hair has been getting, I’m flattered.”

Not since ‘the Pip’, which was an ode to Pip Edwards’ ombré hair colour, has an Australian celebrity inspired such follicle revolution.

And Bingle’s hairdresser Jaye Edwards can attest.

“The bob is going wild,” Edwards told Confidential.

“They are bringing in a photo of Lara form th Rolex event and saying, “can I have this.””

“It doesn't suit everybody. I think that if you have a round face it is better to keep it longer, but as long as your face isn’t really round then it suits almost everyone.”

And a hot tip from Edwards if you’re considering replicating the bob.

“To make it not look too mumsy always have it textured through the ends and always at least an inch from the shoulder and that will stop it from kicking out as you grow it out.”

LARA AND SAM'S SYDNEY GYM DATE

It seems a couple that exercises together, stays together — well that’s the case for Lara Bingle and her boyfriend, Hollywood star Sam Worthington.

The duo, who have just holidayed together in Europe, reunited in sunny Sydney, enjoying a day out yesterday visiting the gym at Bondi’s Icebergs.

As they waited for their car to arrive, the pair took in the view over Bondi Beach on a perfect winter’s day.

Bingle, 27, jetted into Sydney last week and turned heads at an event for Rolex at Quay restaurant on Thursday evening.

Worthington, 37, was in Adelaide for a dinner with casemates for his new miniseries, Foxtel’s Deadline Gallipolli.

Before rendezvousing in Sydney, the loved-up couple spent some quality time in Italy’s Capri, and before that enjoyed some time in Paris and Venice.

Bingle’s mother Sharon also met up with the pair in Europe.

WHY EVERYONE WANTS THE BINGLE BOB

She’s always been a trendsetter, but the Bingle Bob is going berserk.

Lara Bingle chopped off her famous blonde locks a little over a month ago, debuting the finished product to her some 360,000 followers on Instagram.

Unsurprisingly, the super short ‘do has had a profound effect on Aussie women wanting to replicate the look and chop off their own tresses.

Celebrity hairstylist Travis Balcke of Valonz salon, who is responsible for chopping Bingle’s mane back in May, says the ‘Lara look’ is so popular simply because she wears it with so much confidence.

“I talked to Lara about cutting her hair short for an upcoming magazine cover,” Balcke tells news.com.au.

“We talked about the length we would like to go together. She’s had her hair short in the past but not as short as we took it. I talked to her about how this look would make her face stronger and open up her face and neck area, making her look youthful, strong and modern.”

Balcke has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett but says Bingle is “one of the most beautiful women I work with. Her beauty comes from within and she has a great sense of who she is and that’s what’s attractive.

“Her style is always changing and exploring. It’s exciting to watch.”

Style commentator for news.com.au Melissa Hoyer says it’s the best bob she has seen in a while and the temptation to go short is “definitely there”.

“Lara may be (cough cough) quite a few years younger than me, but I am so tempted to go the chop too,” said the long hair aficionado.

“It just looks so fresh, easy and incredibly sexy. But will it suit everyone and would it be hard to maintain? They’re always my two big questions.”

Fans have been madly liking the candid snap the 26-year-old model posted Wednesday night from an event in Sydney, with many commenting that they’re planning to brave the chop, just like Lara.

Studio 10 co-host Sarah Harris re-posted the photo, captioning it: “I want @mslarabingle’s hair.”

Bingle might not be the first celebrity to don the stylish bob, but there’s something about this Aussie bird that makes women want to run out and buy the latest product she puts her name to.

LARA ATTENDS ROLEX BASELWORLD LAUNCH IN SYDNEY

A tanned-up Lara Bingle has graced the Rolex event in Sydney last night wearing a stunning strapless navy blue callot pants jumpsuit.

To the dismay of lady-fans, Bingle was spotted without her hunky Hollywood star boyfriend Sam Worthington.

Other celebrities were also at the exclusive preview of the all-new Rolex Baselworld 2014 collection in Sydney last night, including Sandra Sully, Emma Lung and Gracie Otto.

Bingle jetted into Australia after travelling through Europe with Worthington.

And it’s not the last time we will catch a glimpse of Bingle.

Bingle is expected to make an appearance at a Cotton On store for the VIP launch of the brand’s new The One range, of which she is the face.

In the same month she sold her Darling Point apartment, the 27-year-old has spent the last month vacationing in Italy, relaxing on the Island of Capri with Worthington and her friend Vicki Lee and also visiting Rome.

There’s no word whether Bingle’s Avatar star partner will join her on the brief visit, but at least the globetrotter will have a chance to visit her mum and do a load of laundry.

LARA BINGLE CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY WITH SAM WORTHINGTON

Lara Bingle may be celebrating her birthday with Sam Worthington, but her mum is reminiscing on social media about her Australian childhood.

Sharon Bingle wished her daughter — who turns 27 today — a happy birthday over social media and shared with her followers a photo from when Lara was young — enough to make any daughter either smile or cringe.

The picture shows Bingle all dressed up in a wide-brimmed flower hat.

“Happy Birthday Lou @mslbingle #loveyou #mayallyourdreamscometrue #missyou,” Sharon wrote.

Lara has been enjoying a holiday in Europe with boyfriend Sam Worthington, 37.

Worthington and Bingle kicked off their trip in Venice three weeks ago, before heading to destinations including Paris, Rome and Capri.

LARA'S DARLING POINT PAD SELLS AFTER THE HAMMER

There must be terrible phone coverage off the coast of Capri, Italy.

Or perhaps Lara Bingle simply bungled the time difference.

Either way, the famed celebrity model couldn’t be reached on the phone during the auction of her Darling Point apartment this morning.

At first, it was thought this cost her the sale of the one-bedroom pad which was passed in at $855,000.

But tonight her agents confirmed the flat had gone, presumably after the hammer failed to fall.

Bingle’s brother and former reality show co-star Josh Bingle tried, in vain, to reach his sister who is currently holidaying with boyfriend Sam Worthington on the Italian coast.

Around 25 people attending the auction at the Goomerah Crescent which was presided over by McGrath auctioneer Scott Kennedy-Green.

Only two people engaged in active bidding and ultimately the highest bid of $855,000 was reached before the auction was wrapped up to allow for private negotiations.

At the time, McGrath’s Richard Bonouvrie said: “We would love to sell the property today.”

Asked if the identity of the vendor had any influence on her decision to bid for the 65-square metre flat, one female bidder yesterday simply smiled and said, ‘No’.

Bingle bought the second-floor apartment from interior designer Blainey North for $882,000 in 2010 not long after breaking her engagement with Michael Clarke.

Her brother yesterday admitted that he felt the final bid of $855,000 ‘wasn’t very good’.

REFINERY 29: LARA BINGLE ON KILLER STYLE AND BOYFRIENDS

Whether she's spotted bicycling around in cutoffs and cherry-red oxfords or looking like a total bombshell as the spokesmodel for a new campaign, Lara Bingle never fails to be herself. As the face for Cotton On, a just-launched swimsuit and underwear collaboration — oh, and did we mention Sam Worthington's her serious beau — Bingle's basically got stardom written across her forehead.

And, while it would be easy to scoff at her with secret envy, her candid, relatable, and straight-up cool nature makes it impossible for us to be anything but smitten. Ahead, we chat with the Aussie model about how to master her pitch-perfect style, the essentials every closet needs, and, yes, a little on her hot boyfriend as well.

Describe your style in five words or less.
"Don't even think twice about it."

Sure, but for those of us who have to think about it a little bit, what are the essential components to mastering your laid-back, quintessential Aussie style?
"Less is more in everything. I travel a lot, so I feel like I have perfected a style that suits my travelling wardrobe. I have a suitcase that pretty much stays packed. I'll often wear the same things each time I travel: A lot of black [basics], and then a couple of Balenciaga skirts, a Balmain blazer — I really appreciate the importance of those key investment pieces."

How much has growing up in Sydney influenced your style?
"I get so inspired by my friends, and girls around town who know how to put an outfit together — and my brothers' girlfriends. Sydney style is very laid-back — an easy-yet-chic elegance. That simplicity is often the foundation for my wardrobe choices."

Having spent a lot of time in L.A. over the years, how does the fashion here stack up against your hometown?
"To me, there are so many similarities between L.A. and Sydney — the beaches, carefree attitudes, and how overall the lifestyle translates into what people wear every day. Both cities are always so on-trend. "

You and your boyfriend Sam [Worthington] always look so chic and well coordinated (without ever looking too matchy). Since you started dating, do you think your sense of style has influenced the way he dresses at all?
"Thank you! I love fashion and I always have. I'm constantly inspired by Australian and international designers, and the people I meet in my travels. I'm flattered that some of that may have rubbed off on Sam — although he may debate that! I think he has great taste though. Spending a lot of time with someone often leads to similarities in the way you dress!"

I love how open and completely yourself you always seem. How do you distinguish between what parts of your life you don't mind being public knowledge versus the parts you'd really like to keep private?
"I try and stay true to myself and embrace the opportunities that come my way. I think it's important to run your own race, and try and live your personal and professional life to the fullest — and in a non-censored way. I do feel like my personal life and relationships are something that is sacred and, for the most part, something that I want to keep as close to my heart as possible — although that's sometimes hard to maintain!"

FLASHBACK! LARA'S YOUNG BABY FACE POSTED ON INSTAGRAM BY HER MUM AHEAD OF EUROPEAN TRIP

It seems Lara Bingle isn’t the only one in the family to have a penchant for a vacation.

Bingle’s mother, Sharon, shared on social media a snap of her daughter as a child, and shared her plans to meet up with her daughter on holiday.

“See you soon @mslbingle,” Sharon posted on Instagram yesterday.

Bingle, 26, has been in Venice with partner Sam Worthington, 37, this week, having flown to Europe almost a week ago, from the US where they are now based.

The model has shared pictures of her holiday on Instagram, including snaps of herself sitting in the streets of the picturesque city.

It appears that Sharon will meet up with Lara and her beau in Europe — after no doubt catching up with the pair when they were in Sydney at the start of the month.

CIAO VENICE! LARA AND SAM FLY TO VENICE FOR ROMANTIC EUROPEAN VACATION

Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington are sure racking up their frequent flyer points, with the pair jetsetting to Europe for a romantic trip.

Bingle, 26, and Worthington, 37, left Los Angeles two days ago to fly on a private jet to Venice, Italy.

Bingle posted a snap to Instagram, of Worthington sitting in the jet, captioning the snap, “Europe Bound.”

In another shot, Bingle showed off her model looks in the backstreets of Venice, before uploading another snap of the interior of a building in the city, believed to be their accommodation.

The pair, who at the beginning of this month were in Australia, last week celebrated Bingle’s collaboration with Cotton On, heading to a Santa Monica store opening.

Its not the first time they’ve had a romantic vacation.

They escaped in January to the Maldives, were rumours swirled that the pair tied the knot in the popular travel destination.

In other news, the model has put her private domain on show as she sells up her Sydney base to be closer to her man.

The one-bedroom apartment, on the market through agent Richard Bonouvrie of McGrath Edgecliff, is expected to attract more than $825,000 when it goes to auction on Saturday June 14.

But as the 26-year-old bought the apartment in 2010 for $882,000 after splitting with former fiancé Michael Clarke, she is not looking to profit.

The pocket size pad, at just 65sqm, however does comes with plenty of designer credentials.

Throughout the apartment are exquisite American oak parquetry floor, DeGourney silk walls panels along with luxurious Calcutta marble finishes in both the kitchen and bathroom.

There is also a balcony made for two which takes in the sensational views of the harbour.

LARA ROCKS NEW HAIR DO AT THE COTTON ON STORE LAUNCH IN SANTA MONICA

Lara Bingle has posed up out the front of Cotton On’s newest store in the USA — and it looks remarkably more up-market than those in Australia.

The Cotton On ambassador made a quick stop-off in the brand’s Santa Monica store to pick up some pieces ahead of the “The One” t-shirt launch tonight and we must say it looked much more flash than what we’re used to in Australia.

With each T-shirt displayed in an orderly fashion on a stylish white clothing rack, the store resembled more of a boutique than mass-market Australian retail chain.

Wearing one of the brand’s white t-shirts, Bingle looked super chic in a black mid-length skirt with a high split and black strappy heels. She accessorised with an ear cuff and a few super-fine rings.

However it was her stylish new blonde bob which finished off the polished look.

The 26-year-old is set to be the guest of honour at an event to be thrown in LA on Tuesday night to celebrate the launch of the store and new t-shirt collection.

Her boyfriend, actor Sam Worthington, is rumoured to be a guest, however it has been confirmed Australian actors Alex Russell, Xavier Samuel, Phoebe Tonkin and Jessica MacNamee will be in attendance, along with presenter Renee Bargh.

Cotton On General Manager Felicity McGahan said the brand has created a number of “go-too” t-shirts.

“As an Australian brand that now trades in 17 countries, we have been able to build the best women’s tee collection in the world, focusing on the perfect fit, using the softest fabric in the most flattering silhouette,” Ms McGahan said.

“We have created something we will all wear at a price that is amazing value. It’s always been so hard to find the perfect one, until now.

“With the introduction of our new collection, we truly believe you’ll find the one.”

The One tees will be available in store and online from 19 May 2014.

LARA POSTS MOONLIT POOL SHOT ON INSTAGRAM

Lara Bingle is certainly pulling out all stops to make it overseas.

Just one day after jetting out of Sydney ahead of a Cotton On appearance in Santa Monica, the model has uploaded yet another controversial image of herself.

A fresh faced Bingle can be seen in absolutely nothing, as she slides into a moonlit pool.

Clearly proud of the shot, the 26-year-old uploaded the racy image to her facebook page on Monday.

For months, Bingle has been jetting around the world to play the role of supporter to her actor boyfriend Sam Worthington while he films Indie film, Cake, however now it’s her time to shine.

The pair have touched down in LA ahead of the model’s Cotton On appearance on Tuesday night.

The brand will be celebrating a Santa Monica store opening, as well as the launch of the ‘The One’ T-shirt collection.

The event will take place on Tuesday night, with a number of Aussie faces set to attend including former Packed to the Rafters actor Jessica MacNamee and rising star Penelope Mitchell among others.

The pair checked their luggage into the first-class Platinum One passengers area before making their way though the international airport ahead of their flight.

Worthington was looking smart in an all black ensemble which he paired with black and red high top shoes, while Bingle was her usual stylish self in a girlie white flowing dress which she matched up with a black leather jacket and sensible flat shoes.

LARA SET TO SELL DARLING POINT APARTMENT

Lara Bingle is putting her Eastern Suburbs apartment up for sale.

The Cotton On model is preparing to sell her one-bedroom waterfront Darling Point apartment, indicating she will be spending more time in New York with her actor boyfriend, Sam Worthington.

Bingle bought the stylish pad in 2010 for $882,000 months after splitting from fiancé, Michael Clarke.

However since hooking up with Worthington, Bingle has revealed she wishes to lead a quieter less public life and told photographers in January she was planning to leave Australia.

“Sydney’s my home but I don’t like it,’’ she told a photographer.

“I can’t even go to the supermarket without getting papped [snapped by paparazzi]. I don’t like the attention.

“Sam hates it. We don’t get any peace.”

Update: Sam Worthington has been apartment shopping, recently eyeing a pad at the Gunther Building in Soho.

LARA SHOWS OFF LATEST CATCH AND SHARES MEMORY OF DAD GRAHAM

We'd hate to think she was fishing for publicity but Lara Bingle has posted a social media pic of her latest catch.

And no, it’s not Sam Worthington, but a large fish caught while Bingle was enjoying a day off from her usual modelling assignments.

Despite the fun pic, which shows Bingle going to smooch the sizeable catch, there was a sad side to the photo as the 26-year-old said the fishing trip had reminded her of her late dad Graham, who died of cancer when she was only 20.

“Caught this today!!!! Fishing reminds me of my dad. #jackfish,” Bingle wrote with her Instagram photo.

It may be a far cry from her photo shoots and sultry looks but Bingle still looks stunning in the photo, going make-up free in a simple pair of cut-off shorts and a T-shirt.

LARA BINGLE DOES IT ALONE… IN THE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

Lara Bingle may finally be lucky in love with her man Sam Worthington but she could be faced with life as a singleton when it comes to finding a manager.

The model has had seven companies look after her since she hit the spotlight in 2006 with her So Where The Bloody Hell Are You? tourism campaign.

It all began in 2006 with the go-to model agent Priscilla Leighton-Clark, the woman responsible for landing her the tourism campaign, then the 26-year-old enlisted the help of none other than celebrity PR guru Max Markson — and from there the list quickly grew.

Since then the Cotton On model has had a plethora of people looking after her publicity and endorsement deals, including 6 Degrees founder Titus Day, BFF Hermione Underwood, Tailor Maid duo Sally Brown and Chrissy Biasotto, and the founder of Miranda Kerr’s skincare range, Kora, George Moskos, then even one of his junior staff members.

The latest woman to help Bingle with her career aspirations is Worthington’s agent, Jess Carrera.

Carrera, however, will be looking after Bingle’s publicity and won’t be managing her.

Bingle, who will grace the cover of Cleo magazine on the newsstands tomorrow, said she now recognises how crucial it is to have good people around her.

“I’m taking positive steps forward and at the centre of this is my desire to make my own decisions and make the right ones,” Bingle told Cleo magazine.

“I’ve realised how important it is for me to build a good team of collaborators around me.

“I’ve learnt so much in a short period of time — this will only better prepare me for the future.”

Bingle also revealed she would be launching a self-titled charity foundation to “empower younger girls, the next generation”.

“I love Sydney and it will always be my home, but I am going to jump in the deep and be a bit of a gypsy this year,” Bingle said.

“It’s a nice feeling to embrace being pulled in new directions. The Lara Bingle Foundation is one of them.

“I feel like now is the right time to welcome the opportunities around me.”

LARA: CLEO - BEING LARA BINGLE

Lara Bingle. It’s the name synonymous with killer curves, an incredible smile and, at times, a touch of scandal.

From international modelling and numerous magazine articles to her own reality program (and most recently her current squeeze, actor Sam Worthington), Lara has captured Australia’s attention like few other homegrown celebrities.

It’s why the sun-kissed babe just had to be Cleo’s May cover girl. And while her star might continue to rise, Lara doesn’t get wrapped up in the hype that follows wherever she goes.

“I don’t consider myself as a celebrity or as someone that’s at the top of their game. For me, it’s about doing what you love, surrounding yourself with people that you love,” she tells Cleo at our exclusive shoot in Sydney.

While we’d totally disagree with her there (what non-celeb has 345,000+ Instagram followers?!), it’s Lara’s laidback attitude that has us captivated.

And it’s this same diplomatic outlook on life that’s helped her deal with the fall-out from an incident with a US paparazzo, who allegedly assaulted Lara when she was in New York with Sam Worthington.

“Focusing on the positive not the negative is really important for me. I’m very resilient. Ever since my father passed away I’ve learnt to be very strong,” she tells us.

While she might be a total professional on set, Lara’s love of mischief is never far away. When we finish shooting around lunchtime, she can’t resist Instagramming a photo of her G-string in the couture skirt she wears on Cleo’s cover.

Think celebs spend thousands on exxy products? These stars pay next-to-nothing to look amazing.

It’s pretty clear that no matter what the situation, she’s always happy to be the real girl: irrepressibly Lara. And it’s hard not to be charmed by that.

LARA KNOWS WHAT SAM MISSES, POSTING A NEW INSTAGRAM SHOT

Lara Bingle has showed her movie star beau Sam Worthington what he was missing, posting a sexy shot of herself on Instagram yesterday.

With red lips, slicked back hair and her cleavage on display, yet again, Bingle captioned the picture: “Studio Days.”

The photo was taken just hours after the 26-year-old jetted into Sydney — solo — after spending a few days in Los Angeles with Worthington on the set of his new film, Cake, also starring Jennifer Aniston.

Clutching a laptop and wearing dark sunglasses and black leather jacket at the airport, Bingle is believed to be home to complete a court-ordered, seven-week traffic offenders program.

She pleaded guilty to driving offences in January which included driving with a cancelled licence.

She is now halfway through the program, which must be a relief for Bingle who is now based in New York with Worthington, and has been going back and forth between the US and Australia.

Bingle was a noticeable front row no-show at last week’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

In past years, she was a regular guest at shows.

LARA SHOWS OFF NEW HAIRSTYLE ON SAM WORTHINGTON'S FILM SET

Having decided against making an appearance at Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Week, front-row fixture Lara Bingle reappeared at boyfriend Sam Worthington’s side in Los Angeles overnight.

The model, 26, jetted to Worthington’s side on the set of his Los Angeles-based film Cake where she was spied with a new shorter hairstyle.

Bingle has been racking up some frequent flier points this past month flying between the US and Sydney, where she is halfway through a traffic offender’s program which she was expected to attend at the PCYC in Wooloomooloo on Monday night.

A source said Bingle had to date been “consistent” with the driver’s course attendances.

The model’s new hairstyle looks suspiciously like a loose bob, a style she has adopted before.

Bingle failed to show at Fashion Week and support her favourite designers in the front row, later Instagramming pictures from some designer shows and sending congratulations to the designers who have dressed her for years - often free of charge.

Lara Bingle showed she’s a red-carpet natural as she supported Sam Worthington at the premiere of his new movie.

She looked smoking hot on his arm in a nude and embellished Dion Lee dress at the launch or Sabotage in Los Angeles.

The couple looked suitably loved-up and Worthington, much like the press pack, could hardly take their eyes off buxom Bingle.

The film centres around an elite DEA task force and also stars Hollywood heavy weights Arnold Schwarzenegger and Terrence Howard.

It is set to be released in Australian cinemas in May.

The pair were only in Sydney a couple of days ago where Bingle, 26, completde a court-ordered traffic offenders program.

The notoriously private pair who have been based in New York for the past few months, were entangled in a tiff with a paparazzi in the Big Apple, with Worthington, 37, getting arrested.

LARA JETS INTO AUSTRALIA WITH SAM WORTHINGTON IN TOW

Lara Bingle wasn’t her usual camera happy self as she jetted into Sydney last night with her partner Sam Worthington.

Bingle attempted to shield her face from awaiting photographers as she stepped off the flight from Dubai.

Both dressed head to toe in black, they attempted to make their way through the airport unnoticed.

The pair reportedly played a cat and mouse game with photographers for more than an hour, attempting to give them a bum-steer on where they were staying.

They drove into numerous Sydney hotels and even went to the trouble of unloading their luggage before quickly jumping into their car and switching to another hotel in a bid to mislead the paps.

The Cotton On model’s relationship with photographers has changed dramatically since she hooked up with the Avatar actor six months ago.

She was once more than happy to pose up for paparazzi, however has since changed her tune to the point of considering ‘quitting Australia’ because of a lack of privacy.

“I don’t like the attention. We don’t get any space,” she told a women’s magazine.

Worthington and Bingle recently caused worldwide headlines after an altercation with a paparazzi in New York.

The pair have spent the past few months jetting around the world while Worthington films his latest movie, Kidnapping Freddy Heineken.

The loved up couple made their way from New York to Paris, then continued on to Rome.

Bingle has been sure to document her whirlwind trip on social media, recently uploading a picture on the Spanish Steps.

Bingle, who has been living in New York with her beau, actor Sam Worthington, visited the famous Spanish Steps and posted pictures to social media of the travels. LARA CUTS TIES WITH MANAGER

Lara Bingle has parted ways with long-time guide George Moskos.

Confidential can reveal Bingle is no longer represented by Moskos, who was 'largely' credited with resurrecting the model's struggling career two years ago.

LARA GETS FIT WORKING OUT TO CINDY CRAWFORD'S WORKOUT TAPE

Iconic supermodel Cindy Crawford is inspiring Lara Bingle in her bid to stay in shape.

Bingle, 26, has revealed one of the keys to maintaining a toned bod and keep in shape is a retro Crawford fitness DVD.

“Working out with Cindy at home. @cindycrawford #fitnessdvd,” Bingle wrote on social media.

Crawford released her Shape your Body workout DVD in 1992.

Bingle is currently in New York with her boyfriend, actor Sam Worthington, and is reportedly leaving Australia indefinitely to relocate overseas.

The pair have been front row regulars at New York Fashion Week.

They began dating in September last year and sparked rumours they were married after regularly being spotted wearing bands on their wedding fingers.

LARA SITS FRONT ROW AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Jetsetting couple Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington showed their support for Aussie designer Dion Lee at New York Fashion Week.

Stepping out publicly together for the second time since the AACTA Awards in Sydney last week, the pair were joined by Perth-born model Nicole Trunfio, 27, and Aussie actress Phoebe Tonkin, 24, at the show.

Bingle, 26, beat the cold in a modest two-toned grey tunic-styled dress and black thigh-high boots, with minimal make-up and her hair in a demure bun.

Bingle and Trunfino were later spotted in the front row at Zimmerman's show.

LARA'S NYFW PHOTO DIARY: DION LEE

Oyster #91 cover girl and all-around famous babe Lara Bingle is currently hanging front row at New York Fashion Week 2014. So who better to ask for a photo diary than our gal Lara? She's the queen of Instagram after all. Note to self: Ask Lara to bring back all of the show bags. First up, she saw Dion Lee's FW14 collection show. He was nice enough to answer some questions for us too.

"Dion Lee is one of Australia's most talented fashion exports, and just now at NYFW, we got a reminder of why. His FW14 collection was a modern ode to Australiana. Inspired by bush flora, fauna and colonial themes, the line was contemporary and clean, while repping the creepy aspects of the land Down Under. There were drop-waist saddle belts, snake skin elements, pinafore pleating, crocodile hide and desert pea, wattle and waratah references. Amazing. One pair of white RM Williams please."

Can you describe your collection in five words, Dion?
Flora, fauna, predatory, pinafore, pink.

Who are three famous women who would definitely wear these pieces?
PJ Harvey, Chan Marshall, Baby Winona Ryder.

If your runway show was a song, what would it be?
'Cannibal's Hymn' - Nick Cave

If it was a delicious meal, what would it be?
A steak. Rare.

What is the piece de resistance of the collection?
Foldover Sleeved Chalk Stripe Coat.
