LARA BINGLE MOVES OUT

Lara Bingle has moved out of the Bondi pad she shared with Michael Clarke just days ahead of his return home.

She was seen shifting her belongings from the $6 million digs on Sunday.

A resident in the Bellevue Hill block Bingle has inspected told us yesterday she went back on Saturday and made an offer.

She is now waiting to hear back.

And the 22-year-old appeared uncharacteristically reluctant to be photographed later on Saturday after having a massage in Pyrmont.

HAS LARA FOUND A NEW APARTMENT

Lara Bingle was in the company of her agent Max Markson and two suited-up real estate types during a tour of the prestigious modern three-bedroom Bellevue Hill abode.

The 22-year-old and her agent entered the four-storey Bennelong Crescent block early yesterday afternoon.

Although the doors don't open until tomorrow, Bingle's agent apparently arranged for an advance inspection.

The apartment boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms, direct elevator access, an open-floor plan, an entertainer's kitchen and - perhaps most importantly - "excellent" security.

Real estate agents Raine and Horne refused to confirm or deny Bingle had inspected the property when called by yesterday. They also refused to comment on the price.

WEEKEND WRAP UP

1. Michael Clarke has thanked his former fiancee Lara Bingle for her support along the way.

The Australian vice-captain was heavily criticised for leaving his teammates during the one-day series to attend to his drama-filled relationship with the swimsuit model.

After the couple broke off their engagement, Clarke rejoined the side just before the Test and yesterday showed his class with an undefeated century that helped Australia to 4-316 at stumps on the first day in Wellington.

At the end of the day's play, Clarke took the chance to defend Bingle.

"Lara has copped a lot of criticism over the last couple of weeks and it takes a very strong woman to be able to handle that," he said.

"It's respect to her and it's respect to my teammates to give me the time away I needed and then the opportunity to come back and make me feel so welcome back in the team."

"The support I've had from family, friends, teammates -- I've spoken to you guys about not wanting to talk about my personal life, but the support I've had from Lara as well has been tremendous.

"Without her and her support, I certainly wouldn't have been back over here. To my family and friends that have supported me and Lara, I thank them very much."

In the wake of her break-up from cricketer Michael Clarke and a whirlwind media storm, Bingle has regained a sense of clarity.

The 22-year-old is close to ditching Markson, who is in Mauritius for a family friend's wedding, after advice from friends and family that the agent has ruined her career and cheapened her image.

"Lara is definitely considering dumping Max," one source told The Sunday Telegraph.

"She's not happy with how he's handled the whole thing and she is trying to work out what to do next."

LARA: 'MY SIDE OF THE STORY'

Lara Bingle feels betrayed, hurt and humiliated over the nude photo disgraced AFL footballer Brendan Fevola leaked to the astonished world.

But with her “amazing” fiancĂ©, Aussie cricket star Michael Clarke, by her side, Lara, 22, is determined to overcome her pain and embarrassment, and has launched a court battle to defend her dignity.

Equally important to her is to send a clear and unmistakable message that it is not OK to exploit and degrade women. Never.

Lara wants those who consider it a joke to circulate nude photos to think again, and she also hopes to inspire other women in the same situation to stand up for themselves.

Already her fightback against the man who betrayed her has seen him come under intense scrutiny. Dumped from the AFL’s advertising campaign, Brendan, who joined the Brisbane Lions at the end of last season after a decade with Carlton, is now struggling to save his controversial career.

Here, Lara breaks her silence to reveal Brendan’s lies, and fully explains “the meltdown” at the SCG that preceded the photo’s publication and why she has initiated legal action against him. She also talks about the support she has received, her real opinion of cricket and her connection to Sydney’s Underbelly.

This is Lara Bingle stripped bare – but on this occasion there’s a big difference. She is the one in control.

Did Brendan Fevola take the photograph?

Yes. I think anyone can see how distressed I was that he did that. I tried to cover myself up and I was pretty shocked when he took it.

Do you feel betrayed by him?

Of course, I do. I also feel exploited and compromised by the release of a photograph I never gave permission to him to take – and one he promised he had deleted when he realised how upset I was that he would do that. It should never have been taken in the first place. It was definitely an invasion of my privacy and I had always understood it had been deleted. To see he had sent it around has been really upsetting for my family and me.

Do you blame him for the world seeing it?

I do blame him. It was a complete betrayal at a time of my life when I trusted him. I was vulnerable and it was a total mistake to trust him. I can’t believe how trusting I was but I was 19 at the time.

Women need to be more aware of just how easy it is to take a picture like this with a mobile phone. It’s also incredibly humiliating to think he passed it around to his friends, who passed it on to their friends. When I found out about it , I just felt like I had been violated.

Should Brendan apologise, or has he already rung you to apologise?

Actually, it’s gone way beyond an apology and I would prefer not to speak to him.
