LARA'S SHOPPING UP A STORM IN NEW YORK CITY

Lara Bingle was spotted shopping up a storm in New York on Friday in skin tight leather pants.

While the look was on trend, the pants did not show off the 25-year-old's natural beauty or her fantastic physique.

The model - who has been linked to a string of professional sportsmen and most recently Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers - flew in from her native Sydney last week and has been busy seeing, and shopping, the top spots of the city that never sleeps.

The swimsuit model stepped out on Friday morning wearing her leather pants - that were so tight they needed zips on the ankles so she could get them on - a black tailored suit jacket with a fur scarf, a black beanie and shinny winklepicker shoes.

Giving her outfit some serious fashion power, Lara also added a pair of cat eye tortoiseshell framed glasses with purple lenses and a Louis Vuitton black calf skin tote which was designed by cult film director Sophia Coppola.

Clad in designer labels from head to toe the Australian model headed out to the top stores of New York to add to her designer collection.

Lara certainly enjoyed her time in the Jill Sander store walking away with something specially after trying on a number of outfits.

Along the way, the golden haired beauty picked up a new jacket which she loved so much she put straight on.

Lara gave her outfit a little afternoon pick up, swapping her black suit jacket for a red suit jacket.

With her new jacket on and her Jill Sander purchase in hand, the model looked to be in a great mood.

The 25-year-old has certainly relished her time away from Australia where she draws constant media attention.

As a relative unknown in America the star has been able to enjoy dinner with friends, basketball games and, of course, lots of shopping.

Lara tweeted that she was enjoying being in New York so much she may consider moving there.

'Uh oh I think I want to call this place my home #nyc,' the model wrote on Tuesday.
