Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington have made their first official red carpet debut as an item at the AACTA Awards.The pair, who have quickly become Australia's hottest new couple, hit the ruby rug at The Star in Sydney, looking loved up but avoiding too much media attention.
Worthington quickly skewered any personal questions from Sydney Confidential's Jonathan Moran, preferring to keep the focus on his new capacity as executive producer of upcoming Foxtel miniseries, Deadline Gallipoli.
When asked if Lara would be making a film debut of her own in the near future, the Avatar actor intervened, saying: "It depends, what are you talking about? You can't ask her questions like that." He then protectively swept her away.
The glam couple certainly looked the part, Worthington dressed in a slim-fitting Louis Vuitton suit and Bingle wearing a full-length black number with big, bell sleeves by her favoured designer, Ellery.
The 26-year-old model posted this photo on her Instagram account yesterday, along with the caption "Fitting with Dion", leading fans to believe they were getting a sneak peek at the frock she would be wearing to the star-studded event. The sexy snap quickly garnered more than 20,000 likes.
The caption refers to leading Aussie designer Dion Lee.
