Our statesman and stateswomen could teach our celebrities a thing or three about Christmas trees and their trimmings. PS was a little deflated after receiving a shot of Lara Bingle's Christmas tree this week - it was more like a Christmas stick.
The small pine tree in a pot wrapped in a hessian bag was naked of baubles or even a skerrick of tinsel. Even Bingle herself admitted ''it's a bit sad'' when PS asked her about it.
