Less than a month after publicly declaring her love for British rugby player Danny Cipriani on the front cover of a national magazine, Lara Bingle is single again.

Despite saying she was going to make it work, it is understood that the Sydney beauty has not heard from Cipriani since the pair holidayed in Bora Bora, Tahiti, at the end of last month.

"Lara was as surprised about the split as I am sure anyone else might be," Bingle's new manager Hermione Underwood confirmed.

"Unfortunately, sometimes things just don't work out as expected."

Bingle, 24, and Cipriani, 23, got together after a whirlwind courtship that began when she was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars. They tried to keep the romance private but went public after their Tahitian trip.

"I'm in love," Bingle told Who magazine at the time. "With Danny it's just so easy - he gets me and my life and I get his. He's really supportive of what I do."

Cipriani has spent the past few weeks in the UK but is expected to fly back to Sydney later this month. He's notorious for squiring beautiful high-profile women and then splitting with them.

He has previously been linked to Lindsay Lohan and Kelly Brook.

Bingle was sporting a new haircut - a classic break-up move. From what we hear, she has sworn off men for a while.

LARA AND DANNY HIT THE BRAKES

The brief relationship between Lara Bingle and Melbourne Rebels rugby player Danny Cipriani is reportedly all over.

The couple split soon after they returned from a holiday in Tahiti two weeks ago, sources confirmed to the Sunday Herald Sun.

It's believed Cipriani is on his way home to London for a couple of months during the off season with the Melbourne Rebels, and wanted no distractions as he concentrates on rebuilding his rugby career.

At the David Jones fashion show in Sydney on Thursday night, Bingle gave no indication that she was single other than that she was accompanied by her best friend, make-up artist Max May, rather than Cipriani.

She told the Herald Sun Cipriani was "great."

Just two weeks ago, Who Weekly bought pictures of the couple on the beach at Bora Bora and Bingle told the magazine how in love she was.

It's believed Bingle still has hopes the two may rekindle the romance when he returns to Australia.

The couple were first seen out together in late June. They met while Bingle was in Melbourne for Dancing with the Stars.

At the time Bingle was linked to American singer Jason Derulo.

A British production company is producing a pilot for a show based on her life. Friends Kyle Sandilands and Erin McNaught are involved.

LARA TO TAKE OUT A RESTRAINING ORDER ON PAPARAZZI

Lara Bingle flew into Sydney from Tahiti yesterday to face a fresh storm of controversy after ditching new boyfriend Danny Cipriani at Auckland airport in a bid to evade photographers.

But she walked into a new paparazzi war after photographer and one-time Nicole Kidman nemesis Jamie Fawcett vowed to fight her after reports she would seek legal advice against him.

Bingle's manager Titus Day yesterday said she would meet lawyers this week to examine taking out an AVO against Fawcett, who she claimed was harassing her.

"It is very serious. It has become a real problem and he is always outside her home ready to stick a camera in her face and it has been going on for months," Day alleged.

Fawcett told Confidential he was ready to challenge her claims. "I'm not going to fight Lara Bingle through the media," he said. "But if she has appropriate and legitimate cause for complaint, then let her take it to court because I will defend it rigorously.

"I am not parked outside her place everyday. That is clearly not the case."

Bingle has put other noses out of joint after she and rugby player Cipriani spent the week at Bora Bora in Tahiti, where they posed for a photographer from Big Pictures and declared their love for each other.

Bingle had until then denied they were anything but "good friends", and was reportedly paid $30,000 for this week's Who magazine story.

But Day denied that.

"Lara has not made a cent out of any of this, I can assure you," he said. "She has a preferred relationship with Big Pictures, and one of their photographers bumped into her there and she (and Danny) co-operated when asked."

LARA BINGLE FINDS LOVE AGAIN

Model Lara Bingle has opened up about her romance with rugby star Danny Cipriani, confirming the relationship "just feels right" in a candid interview with WHO.

Following her successful stint on Dancing with the Stars, Bingle, 24, and Melbourne Rebels player Cipriani, 23, are enjoying a tropical getaway together on the French Polynesian island of Bora Bora. "It's been so nice to be able to just hang out and get away from everything," the Sydney based star says from her island bungalow. "With Danny it's just so easy—he gets me and my life and I get his. He's really supportive of what I do."

The revealing interview marks the first time Bingle has spoken publicly about a relationship since the public disintegration of her engagement to Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke in March 2010. "After my relationship with Michael I've realised that sometimes it's better to speak out rather than trying to hide it," she says. "But I feel like I want to protect this interview more."

Images of Bingle and Cipriani kissing passionately during their summer escape have ruled out rumours suggesting she was set to reconcile with former flame, US singer Jason Derulo, who coincidentally arrives into Sydney today for a promotional gig over the weekend. "He's one of the nicest guys I've met, but he lives in the US and I live in Australia so it was a hard thing to continue," she concedes. "But we're still friends, we still hang out if we're in the same place."
